We turned FIVE this year! We’re celebrating this milestone anniversary by giving back to children in our community, with the help of Together We Rise.
Join us at our Open House for refreshments and creative fun for children in our community entering into foster care.
On Thursday, November 7th, from 3-7 pm we welcome you and your family to our new office space. In honor of our success and in gratitude to our wonderful clients, we will be hosting a Build-A-Sweet Case Project, in support of local foster children through the aptly named organization Together We Rise - because together we are able to make dreams possible: yours & ours.
About Build-A-Sweet-Case Project
Each participant will decorate a new duffle bag (provided) with inspiration and imagination (no extraordinary art skills required) and fill with fun items, like toys, comfort goods and a handwritten message of encouragement. The completed bags will be delivered (at a later time) to a local foster care organization where they will be given to children in transition. We will begin assembling bags about 4pm.

We would love for you to donate items to be included in the bags. Even if you can’t join us on November 7th, our Amazon Wish List can make it easy for you to send your items directly to us or provide you with ideas if you wish to send from somewhere else. Please let us know if you plan to drop off supplies to our office before or at the event.

In Case You Didn’t Know:
Every day at least 1200 kids in the United States enter foster care. That amounts to 400,000 children in the system.
Typically, children entering the foster care system are given trash bags to gather their few worldly possessions and then are sent to a foster home.
As mothers, it’s heartbreaking to think of children going through such a stressful and frightening experience. We imagine the anguish and confusion these kids must feel and want to do something to make even a little difference during their transition.
We chose Together We Rise to help support foster children in our community and hope that by providing new, personalized duffle bags and filling them with all the love we can stuff inside, will show them they matter and ease their way into a better life.
